This body of work seeks to navigate ideas of dream construction and their relationship to the physical and temporal impermanence of historical imagery. By using material manipulation as a symbolic medium, my work engages with feelings of longing both as a inescapable place for tranquility and pain. Elements of the “stage” and photographic destruction seep through the images, revealing the fragile and ever-changing perception of fantasies.
